Styling the Vintage Tee

There are a million different ways to style a vintage t-shirt, or any piece of clothing for that matter. but these are just a few of my favorites.

This one's a no-brainer, but a favorite nonetheless. It is also probably the quickest way to get out of the house while still looking put together. Pair this look with some chic boots or your go-to sneakers. Belt it, don't belt it, tuck it in, or don't, the opportunities are endless. Currently my favorite denim shorts are a pair by BDG I got from ASOS. If you're looking for a great pair of jean shorts, check out their websites, they have plenty of affordable options.

Ever wish you could wear your favorite t-shirt to work?  There are actually so many ways to style a t-shirt so that it is office appropriate (depending on your job, of course). My favorite execution of this is by Leandra Medine, of Man Repeller (on the right). A great skirt or wide leg pants are the way to go for this look. Add a jacket or blazer and a pair of heels and you're good to go.

One of the best ways to dress up a comfy t-shirt is to tuck it into a mini skirt. Personally, I like this look best with a leather mini but if suede and flowy is your thing, go for it. The beauty of the vintage tee is that it literally goes with everything. Pairing it with a skirt and some boots or heels is a really easy and fun way to elevate your t-shirt.

Another classic option here. Jeans and t-shirts are like the peanut butter and jelly of outfits --or if you're like me, peanut butter and nutella. I am currently in search of a new pair of comfortable jeans like the ones pictured here, so if you know of any must-haves, let me know!
