4 Brands That Delivered at NYFW

By: India Roby

The long-awaited New York Fashion Week has finally arrived and designers aren't messing around this season! From floral prints to bold, monochrome looks, hundreds of models strut down the Fall 2018 runways, showing off the latest ready to wear collections and new trends. To celebrate yet another amazing season, I have compiled four of my favorite collections that are a must-see.

Alexander Wang

Alexander Wang's last February collection was my favorite from NYFW. Wang redefines the model-off-duty look by incorporating what we typically associate with office attire and taking that to the max. From the small cat eye sunglasses to stunning zipper and fur details, Wang serves us ready-to-wear in a brand new light while his office inspired runway completed the whole vision.

Oscar de la Renta

Who said prints were out of style? Oscar de la Renta presents us a refreshing spin on some of the most beloved prints such as floral and ombré. In addition, Renta effortlessly gives us a modern yet feminine collection. The amount of details in the patterned dresses paired with pointed heels made this collection to die for.

Bottega Veneta

This season, Bottega Veneta gives us statement. Bottega Veneta's outerwear is by far my favorite because the color scheme pops and adds a youthful edginess. Best of all, they incorporated the right accessories; the bold shoes tie the entire outfits together. With business casual coming back in style, I hope to see Bottega Veneta inspired garments in stores very soon.

Juicy Couture

Juicy Couture is known for their iconic jogging suits and they are making a comeback. I am honestly surprised with Juicy this season, they give us a playful twist on the jogging suit by dressing it up, adding details such as sheer skirts and peek-a-boo collars, amping up casual wear. I don't know about you, but I'm predicting that Juicy Couture will be flooding everyone's Instagram feed this year.
