The Best of Chiara Ferragni and Fedez Lucia's Royal Italian Wedding

By: Valeria Ramos

It's become quite normal to see weddings these days lean towards small, private parties and some even taking on a "no cell phones at the ceremony" policy, but for a fashion blogger who has built a million dollar career on social media, Chiara Ferragni's wedding was documented almost by the minute on Instagram.

Ferragni married longtime boyfriend and musician, Fedez Lucia, in Sicily on Saturday in a wedding ceremony worthy of royalty. From the glamorous venue to the couture dresses and every detailed customized for the "Ferragnez," the Italian couple pulled out all the stops for their magical day.

Ferragni's three wedding day dresses (yes, three) were all custom Dior. Under a canopy of flowered trees and colored smoke bombs, Ferragni wed Lucia in a long-sleeve lace romper worn under a tulle skirt. The look was completed with a stunning train and custom Dior shoes with the bride's name printed on the straps.

Ferragni told Vogue finding the right gown was all about finding a balance between classic and modern elements.

"I met with Maria Grazia Chiuri who thought we could realize a modern yet classical wedding dress without losing my contemporary identity, and fusing the fact that I am a young Italian woman," she said.

For the reception, guests dined at a venue with sparkling lights, custom "Ferragnez" deserts and souvenirs and had a taste of the six-tier wedding cake with gold printing that matched the bride's second dress. Ferragni's Dior reception dress was customized with personalized embroideries and stitching of Fedez song lyrics dedicated to her.

Ferragni's final reception dress was a mini Dior ballerina ensemble, perfect for dancing the night away or riding the carousel and ferris wheel at the "Ferragnez" amusement park under a sky of fireworks.
