It is hard to believe that Victoria Beckham made her designer debut a decade ago after leaving her Spice Girls career in the past and taking on the fashion industry by storm. After years of choosing to showcase her collections in New York, the British star made her way back home to host her Spring 2019 ready to wear collection.

Beckham's collections are known for their elegant and chic designs fit for women of all ages. While Beckham's models sauntered down the runway in sleek ensembles, there was absolutely nothing ordinary or boring about any of the looks.

A few highlights from the show included dresses layered over trousers, chic blazers and clean lines and shapes overall.

The shape of Beckham's pieces created modern silhouettes perfect for putting together effortless looks. Pops of color and texture added some edginess, while lace details gave a subtle sex appeal . More than anything though, these looks are best described as powerful.

"What we did was celebrate being different. We showed it was okay to be who you are," Beckham told Vogue.com. "And that's what this is about - empowering women through fashion. All women are different, and there's something for everybody."

Beckham's show ended in a round of applause, a flurry of people eager to get their hands on the collection and a celebration dance by none other than Posh Spice.
