As the 90's era continues to reemerge in fashion, 2018 brought back tiny sunglasses, biker shorts and the Dior saddle bag, just to name a few trends. This classic bag from the 90's was seen on every it girl from Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City to Paris Hilton.

Originally introduced by Dior in 1999 under the direction of John Galliano, this retro accessory's reappearance in the street style scene resulted in Dior relaunching the bag as a part of their fall/winter 2018 collection.

While the trend initially kicked off this summer, it is still alive and well, as you've probably seen all over your Instagram feed. Models like Elsa Hosk and Bella Hadid have championed the trend, sporting the saddle bag in countless looks.

Time will tell how long the saddle bag lasts on the arms of it girls before being replaced by the next accessory of the moment, but it will always be an iconic artifact of the late 90's, and it is always interesting to see these trends resurfaced and styled in modern ways.
