Best Dressed Women at the 2019 Grammys

By: Megan Wilson

The Grammys are the biggest night in music. The awards are the highlight of the night for most people, but for some, it's the fashion that music's finest show up in. Every year, the biggest fashion designers team up with the biggest artists, resulting in lavish gowns that took hours to create. There are out-of-the-box risk takers every year, but sometimes the best outfits are the ones that don't make your jaw drop. Here are my favorite looks from the 2019 Grammys.

Lady Gaga: This was one of my favorite dresses of the night. The A Star is Born actress wore a metallic Celine dress with a high slit, designed by none other than Hedi Slimane. The 9x Grammy winner opened the night with Michelle Obama, Alicia Keys, Jada Pinkett Smith and JLo and took home three new trophies last night.

Jada Pinkett Smith: The Red Table Talk host looked amazing in a backless, pink dress with a multi-colored feathery train.

Miley Cyrus: Miley wore a Mugler pantsuit with a plunging neckline and flared pants. The newlywed singer took the stage later that night with Shawn Mendes.

Bebe Rexha: A few weeks ago, this singer/songwriter posted a video on Twitter calling out a lot of designers who refused to dress her because she is a size 8. Well, it looks like she found a dress! Bebe was a showstopper in this Monsoon ball gown.

Dua Lipa: Moments before winning her first Grammy, Lipa walked the red carpet wearing a gray, metallic dress by Versace with a sweetheart neckline. The "Best New Artist" recipient later changed into a second Versace number for her performance alongside St. Vincent.

Cardi B: Cardi B wore a vintage Mugler Couture gown circa 1995 that was just as attention getting as the rapper's performance on stage.

Alicia Keys: The host stunned in a deep V-neck red dress. Elegant and classy.

No one really stood out this year with a spectacular dress that everyone talks about for days. However, the saying "less is more" was never truer. All of these women looked so spectacular with simple, yet stunning ensembles.
