Back in March, LA Rams Quarterback Jared Goff was named Banana Republic's new Style Ambassador. Today, the company launched a new athleisure line, Core Temp, with Goff as the star of the campaign.

The Core Temp line features 37.5 technology® which is engineered with volcanic sand and enables temperature regulation, allowing its wearer to maintain a body temperature of 37.5 degrees Celcius. In addition, the fabric is wrinkle-resistant and quick to dry, perfect for someone on the go.

This line marries function and fashion, which is what drew Goff into this partnership.

"Their performance style goes with everything," said Goff. "I'd wear the pants with a blazer for press days or a T-shirt and sneakers when I'm hanging out with friends. We also travel a lot for games and training so I like that everything is versatile and light - perfect for packing."

With the athleisure trend having gained so much popularity in the last five years or so, Banana Republic is one of many big brands jumping on the bandwagon to give consumers the comfort they are looking for in clothes. The Core Temp collection consists of suits, outerwear, t-shirts, sweatpants, and more.

In 2019, Goff became the fastest No.1 overall pick in the history of the NFL to advance to the Super Bowl. For Mary Alderete, Banana Republic's Chief Marketing Officer, selecting Goff as the face of the Core Temp campaign was a no-brainer.

"Jared is a fierce competitor known for his cool confidence on and off the field, so he is a perfect athlete to bring the benefits of our Core Temp collection to life. This product innovation and Jared's style of play are both examples of natural performance under pressure," Alderete said.

As of today, the collection is available in stores and online.
