5 Fall Fashion Trends for 2019

Pumpkin spice is back and that could only mean one thing: fall is here, and we’re embracing the sweater weather. Want to upgrade your basic knits? Check out these fashion trends you’ll be seeing on your Instagram feeds and explore pages all autumn long.

Give your skinny jeans a break

Nothing will upgrade your style game this fall like a pair of classic straight-leg jeans. They’re a timeless piece in any wardrobe and are a breeze to style. Go for a dark or light wash that can complement any piece of clothing you have in your closet.

Style your straight-leg denim with your favorite band tee and a jacket for a laid-back look or elevate it with a bodysuit and leather jacket for a night out. For sustainable and affordable options, check out your local thrift store!

Shades of pistachio

Move over millennial pink because pistachio is taking over Instagram feeds everywhere! Marc Jacobs and Sally LaPointe incorporated this soft hue in their Fall/Winter 2019 collections on everything from coats to dresses.

You can add some pistachio green to your fall wardrobe by buying or thrifting a jacket in this shade. For something bolder, buy/thrift a pistachio dress that can be layered with turtle necks and long sleeve tees for those chilly fall days.

Gothic florals

Don’t put your florals away just yet! You’re going to want to continue rocking them in the chilly weather. Prada and Marc Jacobs showcased dark florals in their Fall/Winter 2019 collections and we can’t get enough.

If you have a dress that you rocked in summer, switch your sandals for some chunky boots for an edgy vibe. Give your dark floral midi skirt another rock by adding your favorite sweater and pair of sneakers.

Industrial, but make if fashion

Do you ever wake up and feel like you have nothing to wear? We’ve found the solution: Boilersuits. They’re taking over this fall season in every color and texture to fit your style.

You can purchase a denim boilersuit and pair it with your favorite heels to add a chic touch. If you prefer a more neutral look, opt for a cream color suit paired with sneakers.

Belted blazers

Whether you decided to purchase a blazer with a belt or you add it on yourself, this trend is all the rage. Belted blazers are one of the most flattering trends to complete any outfit. Turn this into a statement piece by picking one with a unique color or pattern.

If you have a job interview soon or if you just started a new 9-5, a blazer is key to an office-chic ensemble. You can rock it with your favorite pants or midi skirt and your best heels.
